Founded in 1970 in Schiltach, Germany by Heinrich Baumgartner and Klaus Brand, BBS pioneered lightweight racing wheels—first with fiberglass panels, then their iconic three‑piece designs used by BMW and other factory teams. Their “Technology Through Motorsport” philosophy drives every wheel, from motorsport-forged and flow-formed lines to classic mesh styles like the RS and LM ..

In 1983, BBS USA opened in Braselton, GA, supporting OE and aftermarket programs with expert sales, distribution, and service—while the German HQ continues R&D, testing, machining, and foundry operations. BBS wheels have earned over 250 championship wins across F1, IndyCar, Le Mans, NASCAR, world rally, and touring cars.

Their product range includes ultra-light forged aluminum or magnesium wheels, performance-oriented flow-formed models, and versatile BBS Unlimited hub-adapter systems—delivering precise fitment, reduced unsprung weight, and customized performance for enthusiasts and racers.
